It's the end of summer here in Japan and the children of Salesio elementary school are headed back to class. The summer break in Japan usually lasts the entire month of August with the kids returning to learn at the start of September. Returning Salesio children discovered that the school had undergone a simple facelift while they were away as a new entryway was built which includes sloping ramps designed to create a more barrier-free environment. The sisters, teachers and staff at Salesio hope that the kids enjoyed a nice summer break and are returning ready and eager to learn.
